I had an amazing first visit to Bare Oaks this past long weekend. So many wonderful, friendly, and amazing people! Ray, Nicole, Marie, Kimmie, and so many more were so welcoming and accommodating to a first-time visitor who knew nothing about what to do/where to go/etc. The food at the Bare Bistro was amazing, the people - both guest and staff were wonderfully friendly, welcoming, and just awesome! Can't wait to come back and will almost certainly be looking into membership. Thank you to everyone at Bare Oaks for a wonderful relaxing weekend!

A very nice place where you can relax without any inhibition. Very nice stuff, friendly and helpful. The food is very good and they have a lot of things to do around. You can enjoy the outdoors and indoor games provided. You can hike, swim and enjoy the nature.

So, after being a long-time fan of The Naturist Living Show (since around 2012), and after a delayed trip due to a global pandemic, I finally had a chance to visit Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park. While I did enjoy my first visit to BO - it being on my bucket list of naturist resorts to visit, thanks to the marketing of Stéphane thanks to his podcast, there were some small things that left me slightly disappointed. Now granted, some of this may have been due to the time of year that I visited, being Labor Day weekend, when it is cold (for someone from The States, like myself), and there not being too many people to meet in socialize. First, with the positives: - Everyone I did interact with, from the staff to the regulars, was supper friendly and cordial, making me feel welcome (besides the general jab here and there about me being American and how missed up our country is when it comes to our politics and culture, especially our puritan views on nudity, and unlike when I travel to Europe I can't pretend to be Canadian this time around (Don't worry Canadians I don't really do that) ) - The staff was even kind enough to bring my suitcase to my room when I was ready, as I checked in early during the day. (Yes, I traveled to a naturist resort with a suitcase as I went to another event in Toronto earlier in the week) - The grounds and buildings were nice and well-maintained, and the bed was super comfortable. The RFID wristband key was also a plus. - The pond, though cold (for me in September) was nice to swim in, and I enjoyed the blowup slide - The massage, which I paid extra for, was nice. For a few negatives: - The internet did cost money. I think it should be free for all guest - While the room was nice, I just realized the room I was staying in (a Queen room) was right next to the office, so I heard people walking back and forth and doors opening. At times it was hard to rest and take a nap (though I would probably not be doing that in the room if I went during the proper season) - I wish the hot tub was working when I went - The pool was too small for me and was pretty dirty - I liked my time at the pond, but even on a day when it wasn't crowded, there wasn't enough seating, and the sandy part of the beach was super small. But overall, I enjoyed my time and hope to be back, but this time in July.

Good news! I'm just a member, and this is not an official statement but merely an observation. I can see the pool opening in a week or two. As of June 20th, I'm sure you'll hear from them soon when the Naturist Park updates their blog or Twitter account. They handled the pool issue very efficiently, and I noticed that the pool is in the process of reopening. Thank you for the relatively quick turnaround. I'm leaving this review as a pat on the back and a thumbs up to the management staff and the owner with the huge mustache (whose name I unfortunately forgot). Great job! 👍👍 👏👏

Bare Oaks has become our home away from home. We have stayed here a few times now as well as made multiple day trips. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. There is plenty of outdoor space to explore or just simply relax.
