We came here on a Sunday, and we used a day pass for picnic area and beach. You can either get the pass on site or reserve online before. The beach is pretty clean but its small compared to picnic area. Water is shallow which is great for kids and families. The picnic are is pretty close to the beach with lots of benches to use. Washrooms are close by and pretty clean and stocked. There are multiple garbage bins around the picnic area. Parking spot is also pretty huge and very close to the picnic area and beach. There is a store close to the beach as well which offers canoe rentals for a pretty reasonable price. Overall the beach is clean and water is shallow and safe for kids.

It's a good place for picnic, camping and hiking. The best part is that BBQ is allowed but you have to bring your own grill. Park's grill is only available to the members who rent the hut for their events. Can call the park management for more information. However you do need a day pass for parking which is a small amount of $21 compare to the other parks in Barrie which charges a ridiculous amounts for parking.

Very nice park so far. Decent lake but shallow. We haven't tried the trail yet.
