Conservation area is really nice with lots of cherry and other berry bushes. Only problem is its infested with ticks. Though these ticks don't have lime or inchefelitis bacteria/virus. So if you want to visit this place, better prepare well.

Our guide for the grade 5 class field trip was super friendly and knowledgeable. He said tick season runs from spring to early summer, but the ticks don't carry Lyme disease. It was really cool feeding the chickadees!

Beautiful, peaceful place with so much interesting flora and fauna, where chickadees will land on your palm and eat seeds from your hand, 13 stripe ground squirrels will follow you as you walk the various trails and the handiwork of beavers is ever-present in the creek itself. The trails are well-maintained, with bridges crossing over the creek here and there, and many excellent views from the tops of the ravines. You can also see where the creek lazily flows into the South Saskatchewan River to the west as it bends northward towards Saskatoon. We will definitely come back here again.

Beautiful, peaceful park near Saskatoon. We went in fall and at that time the gentle rolling mix of Prairie, shrubs and bushes was quiet and calming. No dogs are allowed which is a real plus. Comfortable, clean bathrooms are available in the information building. Staff was friendly and willing to help with any questions about the park or the trails. Free sunflower seeds are available to feed the chickadees and yes, you will get an opportunity to do so. No admission and free trail maps are a bonus. Because of the park has a "leave no garbage behind" policy, it is largely unspoiled. Highly recommended.
