This campground is acceptable for an overnight stop, but can't say I'd like to stay any longer. The grass in our site was knee high. The washroom near our site was out of order, so we had to walk to the reception building where the nearest bathrooms were located. A bit inconvenient. Plus, these bathrooms are in dire need of an upgrade. If you have a high clearance camper, be aware, there are a lot of low hanging branches. Especially at the trailer dump station. Beware of garden hoses stretched across the road for campers who need a water hook-up. While walking the dog, we noticed lots of garbage in the ditches and in trees near the main road. These negatives gave us the impression the owners have lost their enthusiasm for caring for their campground. A little upkeep and this could be a very nice place to stop while traveling. Unfortunately, that is not the case. It is on it's way to disrepair.

Watch out for poison ivy! Would have been nice if they warned you about the poison ivy in the campsites but other than that, it was clean and the staff were friendly. The price is also affordable but bring toonies or loonies for the shower.

Okay the camp ground is an amazing place. Has a magic to it and the natural landscape is incredible. However, the washrooms and showers are... Beyond terrifying. Most flush toilets were out of order and the ones that were open were very very small even for me I'm a 5ft 2 lady. I felt disgusting every time I tried to use them. For larger folks or people with limited mobility these facilities are not accessible. But like I said, you can't beat the magic of the landscape, and despite the facilities I will be back!

I was extremely happy that the staff at this park were so friendly and helpful in finding us a spot in their park however this is where my praise ends. The sites were not laid out with any thought of where the water and hydro hook ups are on a trailer. The were many water hoses crossing the road because they had not put in the proper plumbing. The water was not potable so now I have a contaminated system in my trailer. The dump station was unbelievably gross consisting of a large 12 inch cover over a big hole which stunk when you drain your holding tanks. One could tell that at one time this was a very nice park but the vegetation is unkempt and the park has been uncared about for a very long time. They charge the same as other parks that provide better services, they charge for showers and I would have paid except the showers were disgusting. They only take cash or etransfer.

They don't take cards but luckily I was able to do etransfer to pay for a night. Friendly staff and a beautiful place to walk around! The only thing I didn't like were all the loud trains going through there at night.
