AMAZING experience! We are seasoned campers and, in general, love the Calabogie area. Rather than do our usual trek into Crown Land, we spent the weekend at Black Donald Tent and Trailer Park. We are already planning our next trip back. The campground is family run with great pride. Ann & her family are the most gracious hosts. The grounds, including outhouses, washrooms and showers are extremely clean and well maintained. If you need something, there's always a family member nearby to help. Swimming areas and boat/kayak launches are perfect....and the fish we caught was great too!! 👍

Great camp. Close to some of the best hiking trails the Ottawa valley has to offer. Tones of options on the water too for sport and play. Glampers/rv, the municipal road is good. Expect some difficulty parking trailer on site. The camp is on the both sides of a peninsula with hills to both sides. Camp road is well maintained but a little tight due to the terrain. Tent sites are spacious enough with lots of tree cover. The docks are well maintained. Pay for showering 2$ for 5 min.

Loved the place. Beautiful mixed fir forest with an amazing smell. We actually slept almost 12 hours the first night.the place is safe and the owners are very responsive to make your stay enjoyable. We stayed there on the Canada Day long weekend and really enjoyed the fireworks performed there. The lake is huge and can be appreciated by both leisure boaters as well as fisherman's.

Fantastic place, very rustic. Sites are well separated, which makes them just private enough. The firewood is far less expensive to buy here than it would be to bring it from elsewhere, and the showers are only $2. (that is a little more expensive than other places, but still very reasonable) I can't wait to go back this year!
