User Tips
- Noise Considerations: Some sites, especially in Loop C, may experience significant noise from nearby highways and trains, which can affect sleep quality.
- Facilities: While some visitors found the bathrooms to be well-maintained, others reported cleanliness issues and limited facilities. Note that there is only one bathroom/showerhouse, and additional bathrooms are needed within the campground.
- Space & Privacy: Campsites vary in size and privacy. Some users found the sites to be small and close together, making it tight for larger campers.
- Power & Utilities: Most sites offer only 15-amp power, which may not be sufficient for all trailers. Water pressure might be high for some setups.
- Activities: The campground provides access to a river with great views, biking trails, and an amphitheater for animal shows, making it a family-friendly spot.
Overall Thoughts

It's an excellent option for those seeking a nature retreat, but make sure to consider the specific needs of your camping setup and personal preferences for privacy and amenities.

Location is great and the view was magnificent. Campsites are well shaded with tall trees. Reasons I give it 2 stars, based on our experience in Loop C: - first and most importantly, the site is so loud at night from Hyway and train noise. We could not sleep all night and had to cut our initially planned 2 nights stay after our first night. - bathrooms are dirty and very smelly. - campsites are small with little privacy.

Beautiful campground. We stayed in C loop, with our 5th wheel. The site was a bit tight, but doable for parking. And lots of space between sites, lots of trees. Right on the river, which we could access because the water was low, and we loved that. The views are incredible. Staff were helpful and kind, and we enjoyed biking through the grounds and exploring. So many things to do nearby as well. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful campground, lots are well spread out but some sites are still not separated well enough. Washrooms were well maintained and cleaned regularly. Only 15 amp lots from the look of it, water pressure was a bit too high for our trailer as well.

We had a great camping day with my family in this campground. Loved that serine and peaceful surrounding. It is soul refreshing given the sites are well spaced. We were at the waterfront and the trail is so nice and family friendly. Ampitheatre is a plus for short animal shows etc.

Tiny sites, very tight for a 30 ft camper. Had to park truck sideways to get off of road. Only 15 amp power, they need to upgrade! Oh and did I mention $99.95 for a 20 lb propane bottle at the store! Crazy!! Only 1 bathroom/showerhouse.. they need to add bathrooms within the campground! This place needs major upgrades!
