First time camping here at Brant. Came because of the available group site. Our site 706 was absolutely huge. Had just the right amount of trees for shade and way more than enough space for the 20+ kiddos to run free. We usually camp with Ontario Parks but GRCA is catching up. One thing to note is that Brant doesn’t have any lakes or swimmable rivers. It DOES have a large pool. BUT it cost about $2 per person to access. So out of the 4 nights/5 days we stayed as a group, we only went to the pool once. Which isn’t ideal had it been a lake we would’ve gone everyday. The kids didn’t seem to mind too much as they were happy being kids with the many other kids. Washrooms were clean. Water pressure in the showers was intense. It was borderline boiling hot water with extremely high pressure. We actually had to use the accessible one in the corner as the pressure in the normal showers was too strong for our young ones. Overall good first experience at Brant but probably wouldn’t return. I think as a group we would much rather a camping spot that has lake access and maybe a shop that sells snacks and Kawartha ice cream. 🤣. FYI we had our fire pit going past 2am with no one to bother us 🙌

I visited the place for a summer barbecue in 2024. Beautiful conservation area, just like any other conservation park in Canada. It has a very beautiful outdoor pool which makes it an excellent spot for parties. The picnic areas and pool needs to be pre-booked in my understanding. At the time I visited there were clean portable washrooms available.

first time camping here! Maps are very detailed and easy to follow. Staff were able to respond to questions asked and easy to reach during business hours through phone call. My only suggestion would be to add more garbage bins nearby sites so it would be more convenient to throw away trash from camping. Another suggestion is to have plugs that are available for normal outlets as well for every camping site because not everyone who is camping owns a RV. We camped at #207 and the outlet only had RV. Using the converter would require rent. We were lucky the lady near us allowed us to use some of the sockets of the outlet on her designated site outlet. Outdoor pool has admission for each person for an affordable price and is maintained well, which we liked. The washrooms near us were cleaned well and there are water stations nearby sites and washroom areas. There was also a shower cubicle. Another suggestion would be to please fill in the potholes that are very deep on the way to some sites. Otherwise, very thankful and happy with our stay here 😊 P.S. They sell ice, wood, and worms for fishing at the office by the entrance. Please be sure to bring your own food when you arrive. Nonetheless, they give you a pass that you can scan on the entrance if you want to exit and shop for food outside and bring it back to the camping sites 💯

Excellent park for camping and day use. Very nice pool for swimming. Suitable for family and children as it has splashpad as well. Picnic area also very nice. Recommended.

The pool is great. Would be nice if there was more shade structures. We saw two of the three parks. The first was old but just fine for my 3 year old. The second park we saw was unusable as the grass around was a few feet high. Trails were nice. Easy to follow signs.
