Spent the entire summer here in 1971 or 72. It was called Colmer's Park then. I was just 15 and the owner put on a rock concert. The Guess Who played a great show. I was crazy about the owner's daughter, Wendy. Such a great memory. I'm so glad the place is still there!!

Not a very good river to float down when water is low, lots of rocks and very shallow water. We had to get off and walk quite alot. Lots of wildlife though and very scenic. We saw deer, fish, very large snapping turtles. If I have only one word of advice before doing this float I would find out the water levels before going here.
