Great visit to the park for the Maple Syrup Festival. Very educational, historical, and chronological process of making the traditional syrup from the sap that's collected in rudimentary ways (tap and a bucket)... Preview of how it was made during 17, 18, and 19 hundreds, and the progressive efforts it took to bring on today's modern processes. I found it very intuitively intriguing to learn how the syrup industry impacted the pre existence of the cane sugar industry.

The trails here are really pretty and there are so many, a fork in the road will lead you to another beautiful area. Cycling through them is easy as the trails are so well maintained. It really feels like such a relief stepping into this park when you live in the area which is just a suburban hellscape. The beautiful old trees, the sound of the creek, the air feels fresher and rejuvenating. I'm so happy to support them and ensure they keep this place around.
