Conveniently located along route one on the west side of Calgary. We just needed an overnight stay for rest and they were very accommodating. Sites were small and very close together. Not much privacy. The bathrooms and showers are a considerable distance away from most of the sites. Showers are coin-operated so we didn’t bother to use them and showered in our own rig. A fairly good value for the money, though. Convenient for a one night stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Major drawback: They are doing some major construction for a parking lot adjacent to the RV Park and they had heavy equipment running until well into the evening. Not conducive to getting any kind of rest. I suppose circumstances will change when the parking lot is completed. Didn’t help us, though.

Overall, it was not a good experience after a long day of driving. The bathrooms were quite far and difficult to locate at night. There was no warm water in the bathroom, and showers were not available for free. No tissue paper at some spots in bathroom The site space was small and lacked privacy. Additionally, one electrical outlet was shared among three sites, which was inconvenient, and we couldn't use the plug for cooking. Price is expensive for a tent site.

We ended up having to phone to book a site because we left our plans too late. The staff offered us to come if we were willing to move our unit as the sites were booked. We moved 3 times in 11 days. Even when I confused things, they were so gracious and provided quick solutions. We will book again when we come back to Calgary. Thanks everyone

Spent two nights in the campground to attend the amusement park with grandkids. We had the worst site in the campground. Our site (30) appeared to have had a tractor drive through it digging up the grass, leaving large chunks of dirt and tread, was uneven and you could not use a table outside. Easily twist an ankle walking. We did not talk to reps about it given it was such a short stay. The rest of the campground was nice and was close to the park to walk there.

As flat as the province is you would think they could have level sites. Plus the power posts would make most rvs shudder. Maybe a good family location being beside the park. Don’t think I will be back.
