I grew up going to this camp and I can’t begin to explain the positive impacts this place has had on me and everyone that passes through this place. The programming is excellent with a fun, engaging and informative content taught through awards and choose your own adventure formats. The staff are compassionate and truly camper focused, always looking for ways to make their campers experiences better. I went through the leadership program and it thoroughly improved my interpersonal and skills. The national lifeguard training provided in the jrc program was taught by extremely qualified and knowledgeable individuals. This fantastic instruction prepared me well for multiple jobs as a lifeguard and swim instructor. I am grateful for all my can aqua experiences and will definitely be sending my kids here one day!

I have been attending Camp Can Aqua for over nine years and have only had the best experiences. I can't say enough wonderful things about this summer camp! When I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to create a welcoming and exciting atmosphere for the campers. Every day was filled with a perfect balance of engaging and skill-building activities and unforgettable adventures. The camp's commitment to safety was evident in every aspect of the program. As an older sibling, I was thoroughly impressed by the well-trained staff, safety protocols, and constant communication that informed us about my sister's activities and well-being via 48-hour phone calls and Facebook updates! What truly sets this camp apart is the variety of activities offered. Whether it was outdoor canoe trips, creative arts and crafts, water skiing, or team-building activities, there was something to cater to every child's interests. The campers were encouraged to step out of their comfort zones and try new things, fostering personal growth and self-confidence. The camp's facilities were top-notch, providing a comfortable and clean environment for the campers. The cabins were well-maintained, and the dining hall served nutritious and delicious meals that even the pickiest eaters enjoyed. One of the standout aspects of this camp was the genuine sense of community that was nurtured throughout the session. Lifelong friendships were formed, and the campers learned the values of teamwork, empathy, and cooperation. The counselors were exceptional role models, offering guidance and mentorship to the campers in a way that made them feel valued and understood. As a sibling, seeing the smile on my sister's face every day as she recounted her adventures and shared her newfound skills was priceless. This camp provided a fun-filled summer and valuable life lessons and memories that will be cherished for years to come.

My son is 13 years old who attend first time camp at can aqua from August 19 - 25, 2023. Around 10 am and informed me last night which is Wednesday my son threw up and that there a virus and bug going around and we are working closed contact with Health Department with outbreak. i asked them, i did not get a call back 48 hour from the time i asked to and registered requested. He shy away not speaking how he feels. after speaking to him, i got back on the phone with the doctor who worked there apparently had over 20 year experience and that i have to trust her that he is fine and not to worry as she will monitor the situation. then i email marty who is the owner that what they told me. i said, i want a refund and i will pick up my son today. he did not respond since that email. i told the nurse as soon as he does not feel well or worse, iam only 30 min away from him. Friday. i was the first in line, i why did you not call me 48 hour by Monday to informed me update. i check the surrounding and i must say, the place is not what i would pay almost $2000 when i could spend it someone else. i then went to the doctor nurse office and no one was there so i told her to bring me to Marty. i then had to go down the hills and Marty was there with another parent. then he and i went on a side to speak and i asked him, why is my son not in the age group and what i register him. he said, you register as female and the week you register him is junior. i said, no that not true. then he said, unless you expect conspiracy which there is non. that gave me an idea there is conspiracy because the day i went to drop him off the camp, my password did not work so i had to change it. i had my son luggage password 027 and went he came back from swimming he claim he couldn't open it and it now 029. before i drop him we test out the password before we left, so they change the password on my son and made it their password, knowing he might not know how to work this thing we might as well tell him, its your fault or your mom who set it up is not correct. why we know it that passcode because it was used many times so there is no error or mistake on our end. this is a luggage we used to travel to Florida since and for them to tell me some thing new is so surreal. Then Marty went on and said, you register him as a female and not male and your week you registered. i told him is incorrect and computer error. then he said, it not his fault that is mistake and that he would not give me refund. i then told him, i will call the police on the camp you run with no regulation, moral, protocol and call the health department on Monday when they open, he said go ahead. he also told me this is private property and private run. that being said, in order to sue someone we must have more people come forward to pursue that allegation. Pleading:did not informed me about the virus, bug, flue symptom prior to my child visit. disregard other parent or parent decision and concern for their child. lack of empathy, sorry and understanding morally, integrity speaking Marty claim he is the owner and private run. disregard of getting back 48 hour request phone called informed me about my son threw up the day after his threw up and informed wrong information of the time he threw up, the doctor said around 1 pm and the administration said midnight. when i confront her she change her story did not informed me about the change of room until Thursday when i was able to get a hold of someone. they change his room and blame me i made the registration wrong. if i was wrong and that was true, then you suppose to informed me when i drop him off not have him decide or ask me later in Thursday changing my son lock prior to him noticing him he cannot access it and then blame him his code is wrong they did not refund me when i would not pay if i knew there a virus.

My 13 year old is shy and had tears in his eyes when we told him he’d be going to camp this year. We researched very carefully and chose Camp Can Aqua. He loved it! He had lots of fun. I wish we had done it years ago. He enjoyed all aspects, the food, the activities, the counsellors, his cabin mates. He’ll be back next year for a much longer stay. We highly recommend camp Can Aqua.
