If you are BIPOC and If you are thinking about working here or sending your kids here DONT. The staff are racist, they target others that are visible minorities and more senior staff will not support you or your campers if you decide to attend here. If you’re a worker, they will not take your complaints seriously, they will threaten to write you up, and again unfairly target those that are BIPOC. To camp Samac, get better, more diverse, and well vetted staff that will actually put in the work to make the camp the inclusive and welcoming space that it SHOULD be.

My daughter loved it.'ll sign her again next year. Only regrets I have is that I didn't sign her for longer than a week

My child attended overnight camp here. The grounds were very clean, and the parking lot and paths well maintained. Lovely outdoor scenery, alot of trees and a river. The lodges/cabins are cute. Wheelchair accessible and clean.
