We loved it. The service was amazing, specially Vicky that was extremely nice and warm, the place when we put our tent was awesome, we felt in the middle of the forest with the bathroom and everything 2 minutes away, by the way everything super clean. The lake is 1 minute away and is incredible, super clear and blue. 100% recommended.

Words can’t describe the place. Everything is splendid, clean, gorgeous!! Staff is extremely nice, too! You’d think this place is too good to be true and that something has to give, but no!! I’m here in mid June and there are barely even mosquitoes! Love this place and can’t wait to come back and choose a different little chalet just to enjoy different views when I wake up!

Great place to go camping. They have lovely houses near the lake to camp out but if all of those are occupied, they have spaces for a more traditional camping with your own tent and fireplace, etc. They also have a space where you can go to the toilet and/or also take a shower and it's very well maintained and clean. Attention is great and if you need something else there is a little supermarket in the nearest town.

Carpe Diem outfitted our group for a day of cycling on the Veloroute des Draveurs and kayaking/canoeing on the Picanoc River. I rented a bike - it was great quality and like-new condition. The staff were friendly and quick to get everyone ready, adjusting seats and getting bikes out that fit everyone renting. After biking we had lunch there, sandwiches and drinks, then were shuttled upstream to kayak/canoe down the river. Everything was ready for us at the put-in site, and at the end they were there to help us out and transport us back to the shop. The owners/staff are professional, knowledgeable and attentive, looking after all the details so we could enjoy the day. Highly recommended!

One of the BEST place to book a camping/mini-lodge weekend! I went twice, once in a mini lodge and once in a tentsile (like a suspended tent in the trees). We really enjoyed taking the canoe out onto the lake early morning with fog over the water. You can also hike around the forest, and spot wildlife. ++ warm and welcoming owner onsite
