Good location but not a great experience. We arrived in the evening and we were charged an extra $20 ($61 total) for a “premium” campsite by the water. When we arrived at our site it was so small that it could barely fit a table and a tent and it had a very bad smell from being next to the toilet. Due to the smell we had to move to one of the other sites farther from the water and when we asked for our extra $20 back we were denied twice. Very disappointed by the customer service.

Wonderful glamping trip - easiest camping for my friends and I. A communal building with toaster, stove, kettle and pots. Try to get a waterfront site to soak up the beautiful view of the fjord and mountain. It’s worth the extra cost. The washrooms are fairly clean but this needs improvement especially the showers/bathroom. The location is perfect to access kayaking tour and to access trails. It is however about a 15 minute drive to Saguenay park visitors/information centre. There’s a cafe, ice cream shop, grocery and a couple of restos in the area.

Amazing location to camp in l'Anse St-Jean, especially if you can get a lot by the water. The views are simply breathtaking. The facilities are quite clean and well taken care of. The entry to the campsite is secured as a pass is needed to enter the site. They also come by every evening to ask if you would like firewood - at $5 a bundle it's a great deal. The only slight downside for us is that our site (K2) was next to one of the toilets. While this was greatly convenient, every often we would get a whiff of sewer smell. It wasn't enough to put us off our experience but it was certainly noticeable at times. Nonetheless I would certainly go back to this campsite.

Came here 2 years ago, loved it. We returned this year, but we had a bad experience. Some neighbors decided to play drums from 10pm to 2am, and there were noisy people around the site. We had a spot called sous-bois, which is next to the parking and right under a spotlight, and the road is also around 10meters from the spot. I'd say stay clear off this spot, it's really disappointing. Make sure you get a spot close to water, otherwise it's not worth it.

Great facilities, not too far from food places and the view is great, too close to the road and a bit crowded for my liking. It's a nice walk in the area as well, not much of a shade might be a problem too.
