About This Campsite
Welcome to Camping Lac Magog
Camping Lac Magog offers a mix of natural beauty and family-friendly camping options. Known for its charming atmosphere and scenic surroundings, it provides unique lodging experiences such as tents in the trees and is well-equipped for activities in nature.
Important Considerations
- While some visitors love the tent in the trees for both comfort and novelty, it's a good idea to check the spacing and proximity to other campers, as it can feel crowded during peak times.
- If you're planning on using electricity, confirm the details of your site booking to avoid additional fees.
- The campground has a picturesque setting for sunsets, though some find areas a bit noisy due to proximity to roads and trains.
- Wi-Fi is available, but incurs an extra charge and is limited to one device, which might be an inconvenience for some.
Outdoor Activities
Camping Lac Magog is ideal for those who enjoy outdoor sports, offering opportunities for biking, running, paddleboarding, and swimming. Despite the limited lake access, the area is loved for its variety of recreational activities.
Overall Thoughts
Camping Lac Magog is a unique site that promises memorable experiences, particularly for those looking for a charming and adventurous stay. However, prospective campers should consider potential noise issues and verify their site facilities to ensure a pleasant experience.

Great charming little campground. We camped there with our own tent the first year and tried out their tent in the trees our second year. Both times we really enjoyed ourselves. We especially liked the tent in the trees experience as we have big and small children. We were able to fit all 7 of us in there and thanks to the heater they provide, we weren’t cold at all (we were there in September). We all had a really great time!

Unfortunately we had a bad experience at this camping. It's way too crowded, all three days we had a feeling like we are at the parking lot full of cars and not in a forest. Also we had to pay extra 25$ to have a correct access to electric plug nevertheless we had already paid for a site with electricity access included! One star only for sunset. Would not recommend to anyone.

I would have given a higher stars but unfortunately it rained the whole time we were there and we were unable to do any of the outdoor activities. The trailer we rented was very comfortable and well equipped and the park was very clean and quiet. For the price of the trailer I would think that the Wi-Fi would have been included. $7.95 a day is excessive, especially since you can only use it on 1 device.

Small tent area and very close to road and neighbors. Small access to the lake for fishing and swimming. Very loud with a train honking every night. Experience was subpar.
