Small but beautiful park with lovely views of Seaside Marina and City of Victoria. Captain Victor Jacobson was born in Finland in 1859, of Swedish parents, and sailed the world as a youth before settling in Victoria in 1880. His many bold voyages to the Bering Sea in search of seal pelts, beginning about 1884 and continuing for the next twenty-five years, established Jacobson's personal fortune and his reputation as a famous B. C, sealer. 507 Head Street was built in 1893 for Jacobson. Although the house was likely designed by shipbuilder Alexander Watson, Jacobson himself carved the decorative wooden details. The Italianate style is known as "Steamboat Gothic" or less commonly, "Barbary-Coast"

Beautiful little off leash park, perfect for my little senior doggy. There is a partial fence but it's not enclosed. Signs advise to keep dogs out of (beautiful) gardens. Benches to sit and look at the warf. Flat green spaces for light activities. Will come back!

A simple but terrific greenspace for dogwalking with a view of the Westbay Marine Village. Complete with two benches and a newly installed picnic table.

It’s small and doesn’t have very good parking.. when it comes to parks in Victoria, there are far better ones
