Highly recommend. Well-maintained campground along a beautiful little river. The facilities were clean, the management was very friendly and the natural surroundings relaxing. I had a great stay and will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay. We had a large site with lots of privacy and shade. The facilities were kept very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Is it a party campsite? No. It is great for families and people looking for a quieter spot. The traffic from the highway could seem loud right at lights out and in the morning but you get used to it. Thanks for a great stay!!!

Don't worry Vanessa and Michelle and anyone else that was banned. Lol. We were banned for life also and we didn't even get a chance to stay there. We had reservations coming up in 2 weeks and were driving down from Courtenay and decided to stop in and check out our site. We had not stayed there before. We did check in at the office and let them know our intentions and would be about 15 minutes and then out. No problem. We were about 20 minutes as we ended up talking to some other guests about the amenities and campground in general. After already been hassled about parking from one of the staff, which I immediately moved the car to where I was instructed to, he and another woman also chased us down in their golf cart and proceeded to yell, reciting the rules to us and saying we were over half an hour etc. Other than my wife saying "you are so rude", we left quietly right away. By the time we got home to Nanaimo we had already received an email cancelling our reservation and banning us for life. I can only imagine what would happen if we actually got to stay and perhaps , I don't know, had music playing by mistake one minute after quiet time. If prison life is what you desire in a campground then this is the place to be. It all would have been fine if she just had a more hospitable tone in her voice. After all, they are in the hospitality industry. I guess that $5.00 is that important to them. PS, I HAD to give one star so that I could leave a review otherwise I wouldn't have even given that.

We were blessed to spend the long weekend camping at this wonderful place. We stayed by the river and enjoyed the nice community and the serenity of the nature. Very clean, well looked after, and with lovely staff at the check in. The nearby beach was very peaceful and almost empty. We’d love to come back.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this campsite almost by accident while looking for a spot to camp before heading home from a 3 week camping trip across the island - It was easily the best part of our trip. The day we checked in, Haley and Leslie helped us with our check in and WOW - Their customer service goes above and beyond. They were the sweetest, most kind individuals who ended up being a huge reason why our experience was amazing. Apart from the outstanding service, the campsite itself has everything and more. The facilities are the cleanest I’ve ever seen at a campsite ever, and the have cute little touches throughout the site that makes it ideal for families and guests. I was blown away by how clean and affordable this place was - Thank you so much for the stay! We will definitely be recommending this place to everyone and hope to be back soon! :)
