Wonderful owners, so accommodating when we got in fairly late in the evening and set us up in a nice 3-way campsite. Campground has lots of fun areas for kids although it was just the 2 of us and our dog. I really enjoyed the warm water adult only pool. So clean and didn’t reek of over-chlorination. The grounds are beautiful with flowering plants everywhere. Highly recommend!

Great staff, events and amenities. We've been coming here for 3-4 years now and really enjoy it. One of my favourite campgrounds to visit. Staff is very accommodating as we try and book here 5-6 times a summer. We would recommend this campsite to anybody.

My family and I have had the pleasure of camping at Cedar Shade Campground for over five years, and I can't say enough about what an amazing place it is. From the moment you arrive, it's clear that this is more than just a campground—it's a welcoming, vibrant community. Cedar Shade boasts an impressive array of pools, a large lake (quarry), a massive bouncy pillow, and multiple kids' play structures. Whether you're looking to swim at the quarry or splash around with the kids at the pool, there's always a perfect spot to cool off and have fun. The activities are endless and cater to both kids and adults, offering something for everyone. From organized games and crafts for the little ones to social events and recreational activities for adults, there's never a dull moment. What truly sets Cedar Shade apart is that it's a family-run campground. The owners (Josie and Sylvain) genuinely care about their guests, and it shows in every aspect of the experience. The staff, including Linda, Marthe, Zach, Josh, and countless others, consistently go the extra mile to ensure everyone has a memorable stay. Their dedication and warmth make you feel like part of the family, creating a sense of belonging and comfort that kept us coming back year after year. Cedar Shade Campground is more than just a destination for us—it became a cherished tradition and a place where we built countless happy memories. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a camping experience that combines fun, relaxation, and genuine hospitality.

Cedar Shade is by far my most favorite parks. It has a very friendly atmosphere and the staff have always gone above and beyond if needed when we book our stay. There is always something to do if you like to keep busy and 3 different water choices 2 pools and the lake so people are nicely spread out. I I ever chose to settle in one park it will be this one!

I really enjoyed my stay. Cedar Shade campground is very clean. I stayed a week and my grass was cut twice. The lake was refreshing and well taken care of. The three pools were clean and i believe to be salt water. The hot tub for adults was in a quiet area beside the pool. I appreciated that they had an adults only pool where i could read and relax. They had many fun areas for kids (big and small) ranging from Tarzan ropes that swing into the lake, at least two really nice play grounds, a bouncy structure, a bog park, pool table, etc. They even had a floor hockey tournament with prizes for the children. On Sunday, i was very happy to take part in a Christian service that was in a huge covered area away from the rain. It was really nice to hear young people singing before the service. The campground offered us a free meal of pork chops, vegetables and potato's after the service. There was another very nice wooden structure that had a big hall inside. I noticed wooden cabins to rent for those who preferred being indoors instead of trailer or tenting it. The food was really good and the staff were really nice so i was disappointed that the snack bar was not opened daily and sometimes closed early. Every staff member that i came into contact with were very helpful and nice. A small farm to one side included two pigs, ducks, chickens, goats, cows and horses. An area where you could feed and pet the animals. Cedar shade is the perfect choice for adults and children. Enjoy!!
