About This Campsite
- The campsite boasts a remarkable 2 km sandy beach where the water remains shallow for quite a distance, making it ideal for families with children.
- Visitors commend the clean and modern washrooms and showers, as well as the excellent facilities available for campsite guests.
- There are a variety of campsites fitting everything from tents to full-sized RVs, with many offering full service.
- Guests can enjoy fun beach activities with big slides, a jumping balloon, and other equipment ensuring an exciting stay, particularly for kids.
- However, the animation team may not always be reliable in executing scheduled activities, which is notable for those planning to join in campsite animations.
- Campsites tend to be small and offer little privacy due to the layout, a remnant from the site's past under private ownership before joining Sepaq.
- The park's regulations are enforced strictly by staff, ensuring a secure and peaceful environment, though this may feel imposing to some guests.

Great beach where you can walk far with water to the hip. Well maintained washrooms and modern. Lots are big but with how trees are laid out, you see the neighbors. Biggest issue is the animation team. They have a schedule with cool activities. However animation team shows up an hour late, unprepared, cancels activities due to lack of preparation (forgetting stuff) and sometimes don't show up at all. Shame on management to let this happen. Good ice cream shop.

This provincial park, about 2 hours outside of Ottawa, is a new discovery for me. A 2 km sandy beach, clean water, excellent bathroom and shower facilities, and regular patrols by friendly staff. They have a range of campsites that can accommodate tents to full sized RV's. Many of the campsites are fully serviced. They've been around for 75 years. I highly recommend a visit with friends to watch the amazing sunsets.

Excellent beach. The slides, jumping balloon and the other toy structures were just amazing! Camped there for 3 days and wow, the cleanest toilettes& showers so far! Would definitely come again, even for a day use of the beach

My wife and I decided to check out the large sand beach and swim in Lac Simon on our return from camping at Mont Tremblant. Campsites were available, and only cost $20 more than the day use fee. The beach was clean, the water was clear and warm, the campsite was level, and the bathrooms, showers, and dishwashing facilities were in excellent condition. Families with children will love this place. There are big slides, a bouncy pit, and hike-bike trails. We stayed on a Saturday night, and the kids were playing and whooping up a storm until 10 pm, when things settled down completely. The only minor downside to the campsites is they are a bit small, and not very private. This is because the park was developed and operated under private ownership before being acquired by Sepaq. Really an outstanding lake beach experience.

The stuff is very rude. They come too often to bother us. We were siting around the fire listening to music with low volume at 15h (during the day). They came to tell us to close the radio. Another time the ranger came and tried to intimidate one women in our group saying that she did something bad. We asked what happened and the guy told us she was not supposed to come to visit us since we were more than 6 people in one site during the day. In the evening before 23h the ranger come multiple times and told us we were talking too loud. He was irritated because he heard us saying the ranger is coming again and then he threatened us while we were talking around the fire on very low tone.
