This was the first year that i sent my kids to camp. I am not religious at all but I chose Chabad Lubavitch Day camp because i heard many good things about it, all my friends sent their kids there and I found out it has been running for 150 years so figured they're likely doing something right. At first, I thought it was a bit expensive but went ahead anyways because they had gone above and beyond when I called and asked about accommodations for my kids with sensory processing disorder. So I was assured from the get go that they are worth it. Boy, was I gonna be blown away by how much... Orientation came - I was floored. Such organization, so well prepared and everything thought out, so many high quality giveaways needed for these 2 months like back pack, reusable water bottles with a carrier bag, fanny pack and much more. Day 1 started - again - blown away by what the kids told me. First week went by, already field trips, surprises, petting zoo in their parking lot (!!!), inflatable bouncy castles...and this was the first week!! But it just continued like this for a full 2 months. Every week more fun surprises, more amazing trips, and it never ended. It's like disney world X100 all day every day. High energy, fun music, activities all day, never a dull moment.... AND they have their own kitchen so all meals are cooked in house by their kitchen crew and snacks are provided on tables all day long to grab whenever the kids wish. At some point - I started thinking "how could they charge so little for eveything they do with the kids????" My kids actually cried when they were sick and couldn't go to camp one day. And the final cherry on top of this wonderful cake is that there was a Royalty dress up day and my daughter insisted on wearing a tiara she had with real stones, from metal, one she was given at a very special princess party she attended and was told was quite expensive. Sure enough she lost it that day. I followed up with the camp, even sending them a picture of the tiara, hoping to maybe send out an email to parents to see if any of the kids brought it home with them (it didn't have a name tag so they couldn't have known who to return it to). End of camp arrived and the tiara wasn't found. To be honest, i was more upset than my daughter. At her age, she doesn't necessarily understand the different value things may have (plastic=metal=tiara - all the same). And the camp called me up on the last day and told me to come to the office. When i arrived, they handed us the tiara. I was shocked! How did they find it after all?? APPARENTLY THEY DIDN'T. They saw how much it meant to me, google searched my photo, found an identical tiara and BOUGHT one for my daughter. I was speechless, I was moved to tears. I never in my life expected anyone to go to these lengths to do something like this. Camp Lubavitch is the definition of "over-promise AND over-deliver". They went miles beyond my expectations and acted as though that is the regular standard and they would never consider giving anything less. I have no words to express the gratitude and the awe I have for all of the staff members of camp Lubavitch. You blew me away with your hearts, your kindness, your commitment to simply be of service and to love others - just like God asks of us. You are the embodiment of what we all should strive to be. Haven't been to the camp but experienced them in Woodbine mall amusement park. Leaders on their phones while the kids are cutting in line. Had to tell one little boy 3 times to stop cutting in line in front of my daughter with seemingly no leaders to be found. I would never let my kid attend based on the behaviour witnessed and the lack of supervision in a very busy public place.

It’s a meh camp, personally I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone for work but for kids I guess it can be fun. Unfortunately there are more cons than pros for the councillor’s than for the kids morahs and older staff and understandably payed more and are rested better however teen councillors aren’t treated as well and are payed poorly A lot of staff can be rude and from what i’ve seen some of the morahs in preschool treat the younger councillors badly and often don’t do anything except sit on their phones, this isn’t towards every morah but a few. Do better.

My daughter had been going here for 3 years now and she absolutely loves it. So much activities for the kids and trips. They offer a bus for pickup and drop off for a great rate. It was successful that all her cousins join her and they get to be in the same group, very accommodating. The food is fun for the kids. Nothing too fancy but it's camp, it's supposed to be fun. They even offer alternatives for the children so kids are guaranteed to be fed. Kids go swimming and have a blast. She's learned so much about hashem and so many songs. most importantly he's learned about Jewish culture. Very happy with this place.
