We went disc-golfing, had a picnic afterward, and a few of the guys went fishing. I had no idea the conservation area was so large with so many amenities! It's absolutely beautiful! The disc-golf course was great, either a great variety of terrain and types of holes. Oodles of options for locstions to eat your picnic lunch, from pavillions to picnic tables, to shady grass areas where you could spread out a blanket.

This is one of my favorite disc golf courses I've played this year. It's challenging, bring your bright discs or eagle vision, the roughs are deep and it's hard to see the discs sometimes. There is a good mix of hard and medium hard holes, and a few open fields to unleash the distance drivers. They have leagues on the weekend , we got there just before 10 on Saturday and we're able to squeeze in before the league started , such a fun course , and the views are outstanding !

Was a fun day at Christie Lake. We enjoyed the warm day with good shade thanks to the trees. We went paddle boarding & played volleyball amongst other sports. Definitely worth the trip from Downtown Toronto.

Plenty of space for a day picnic. The water however wasn’t great- muddy and lot of algae. Ideal for kayaking or paddle boarding, but not for swimming. Buy parking pass in advance to avoid the lineup at the entrance.
