Visitor Tips

  • The park boasts plenty of parking space at all entrances, making it convenient for all visitors.
  • Some concerns have been raised about littering affecting the water's appearance, so it's important to maintain cleanliness to preserve the park's beauty.

Overall; Churchill Park offers a pleasant mix of recreational opportunities in a scenic environment. It’s a perfect spot for families and individuals looking to enjoy the great outdoors. Though not a must-visit landmark, it provides a lovely space to unwind and appreciate nature's offerings.

A wonderful park with many places to explore and activities to keep the family entertained in the great outdoors. Paved trail through the center of the park makes for easy walking with strollers or biking for all ages; trails wind throughout the park and lead to adjacent neighbourhoods. The splash pad and accessible playground are well maintained, as are the washrooms. The rocket ship has seen better days and will hopefully be repaired, but is still a neat place for kids to hang out. A great place to spend the day!

I love this park for a quick walk off to get some sun. This place also have picnic areas and children park. Plenty of parking at all the entrances. The water doesn’t look really clean though. I wonder who is littering here. There are also small trails through the woods around the park you can explore. Also have a sport ground.

This is big and beautiful park. And parking lot also big. They have baseball court, basketball court (ground was not flat), volleyball court (you have to bring it net) and playground. I saw a great blue heron. It was pretty big and quiet.

The playground offers a variety of activities. They have 2 playgrounds, a rockets hip playground (which should really be taken down and made new) and a smaller accessible playground.

Took our 5 year old twins to play on the play structures and run around the splash pad. They had a lot of fun. The public bathrooms are quite a hike from the play area (if you are little). The grounds are pretty and wheelchair accessible. Overall a nice park but nothing stands out to make it a must visit.
