Clarinda Park is a charming green space nestled in a neighborhood setting, offering a delightful mix of leisure and natural observation opportunities. Whether you're planning a peaceful day out or a place for children to frolic on playground equipment, Clarinda Park offers a lovely escape. Location and Accessibility: While the exact address isn't specified, Clarinda Park is conveniently situated at the intersection of Sheppard and Leslie. This makes it easily accessible, although it can be a bit busier than more secluded parks. Highlights and Features: - The park area is quaint and peaceful, perfect for casual walks and biking. - It features a playground suited for children and adults looking to engage in exercise, reinforcing the park's family-friendly atmosphere. - Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the East Don River that runs alongside, offering picturesque views and unique opportunities to observe salmon spawning during certain seasons. - Although street parking can be limited near Clarinda Drive, there is a parking lot available near Sheppard. Important Considerations: - Keep in mind that, while there are delightful riverside paths, some visitors have noted that the river may occasionally carry a less pleasant odor. - The park lacks washroom facilities, which is something to plan for when visiting. - As always, visitors should ensure they clean up after themselves and any pets to maintain the park's natural beauty. Overall Thoughts: With its scenic beauty and facilities for both passive and active recreation, Clarinda Park serves as a wonderful spot for locals and visitors alike. Its natural setting combined with accessibility makes it a charming location for a tranquil outing or lively play. Just remember to bring essentials as facilities are limited.

It's my local neighbourhood park with a playground for kids or adults looking to do their exercises. There is also ravine access to the East Don River. Please remember to clean up after yourselves (and your furry 4-legged friends)!

Beautiful little hidden park, so peaceful. It also has swings and other rides for the little ones.

A convenient way to view salmon swimming up-river on the Upper Don River to spawn. Limited street parking on Clarinda Dr. No washrooms or facilities. Proceed northward from the playground, down the stairway to the river side. Salmon can be viewed from the river shoreline & on bridges which cross the Don River at this location (last sightings: ~2022-Oct-10). Alternate access: Villaways Park from Leslie St.

Its right on Sheppard and Leslie so it's busier than some of the other parks but it's nice and great for walks and biking. There's also a river running along side the walkway which is nice but sometimes smelly. There's a parking lot just off the Sheppard as well.
