Unless the gate into the park is open, which it wasn't (on a Saturday in July no less), there is only illegal parking for maybe 20 cars at the end of the road to it. No signage, just a dirt trail leading north to the river maybe. Not accessible for wheelchairs or anyone else having difficulty walking. If you're looking for a dip in the Elbow, don't bother, just turn off the north side Hwy 8 just past the bridge.

Looks like the official park is by reservation only, but a pathway outside the boundary leads to the river. It's a beautiful section to chill out on with lots of water access for the doggy.
