A beautiful area to visit close to saskatoon. Lots of small trails by the river, the water looked pristine and the beauty of nature was really apparent in this area. Great place to go for a walk or a jog. Decent amount of cars on Remembrance day, lots of dog walkers. Check it out!

CranberryFlats is a nice natural nature preservation area just south of Saskatoon along the South Saskatchewan River too go for a walk or hike pretty much any time of year. My favourite time of year is fall when the weather is not too hot or cold out and all the fall colours are changing. There are many sandy and dirt paths here too walk and hike. It also has many great views of the river and the Saskatchewan Prairies especially from the high point in the park. I f your are spending a while here I recommend you bring some water too stay hydrated and if bring any snacks there’s no garbage cans on the paths too throw the garbage away so please be prepared to hold on to it until you leave and find a place to do so.

Very nice natural area just South of Saskatoon. It has some lovely views of the river from the high point in the park. Great place for a walk even with the clouds and rain like when we were there. The boardwalk is necessary to save the dunes from degradation. It looks like people have made a lot of paths off the groomed paths which is unfortunate as it's destroyed the plant and animal habitat.
