This is our first summer at Cripple Creek Campground and we love it! Unlike so many other seasonal campgrounds we looked at last year, this campground has large sites with plenty of trees that offer a lot of privacy. There is also a beautiful beach that we love to hang out at on hot summer days. The snack shack offers a variety of food items so you can enjoy snacks or lunch right on the beach. Kids and grandkids can also enjoy the playground nearby. Mike and Jackie do a great job of keeping the campground looking beautiful and planning fun events throughout the summer. We have gotten to know a lot of nice people here and many of them have been here for a long time. This summer has gone by way too fast and we can hardly wait to come back next year. We highly recommend this family-friendly campground.

Great location right off the main highway. Campground is very inviting, has tons of cool stuff for the kids and the owners were very jovial. Would definitely go again.

Cripple Creek Campground is an absolute gem located less than an hour from the City of Winnipeg limits. Our family is so grateful to have settled here as seasonal campers as the owners are amazing people and run a really tremendous camp. They work hard at maintaining a very beautiful and well kept facility and the beach reminds you of sinking your feet into sand of the Caribbean. There is just the right amount of planned events over the camping season so that you get the perfect mix of relaxation and entertainment. The owners also have rules as part of the contracts for either seasonal or overnight campers that are COMPLETELY sensible that are solely focused on maintaining a safe and enjoyable camping experience for all of their patrons. Our family has camped at some of the provincial campgrounds where everyone drives far too fast and it was always a worry for us as parents having to keep our kids on our hips as we never felt safe for them to be able to just be kids and play. Here, at Cripple Creek the speed limit of 10km/h is strictly enforced which as a parent I am grateful for as our kids can ride their bikes with friends and walk ahead of us on the way to the beach without having anywhere near the worry as we did with other campgrounds. We are also grateful for the many great people we've met here at Cripple Creek Campground because it has made our experience even more special and will cherish the memories our kids will have from this place. Lastly, to any negative Nellie's out there who are the one offs with a bad experience I always embrace the fact of look internally first about yourself and see if there were things you could have done differently...especially when you look at every review you post is negative what does that tell you? All in all, we would highly recommend Cripple Creek Campground to anyone looking for an awesome Seasonal Campground or overnight place to stay as even the last group of friends we had out for a beach day loved it so much they ended up buying one of the trailers that were for sale!

We stayed here for a night on our cross Canada trip! This campground is a gem! Very friendly staff and clean, comfortable washrooms and showers! The campsites are awesome with grass when you step out your camper door. Lovely fire pits for a nice relaxing evening!
