Very nice and peaceful park. You can walk/run from one end to another covering 6km. Starts from Eastgate and finishes at Parkridge park. Have two small playgrounds for kids.

ONE SECTION OF A LARGE AREA COMBINING LANDSCAPED GREENSPACE WITH PAVED WALKWAY AND CHILDRENS PLAYSTRUCTURE. ALSO ADJOINS LARGE AREA OF UNDEVELOPED WILD OR ROUGH GRASSED AREA ADJOINING PILOT BUTTE CREEK. THE GREEN AREA SHOWN ON THE MAP IS BELIEVED TO BE THE "OFFICIAL" CITY EASTGATE PARK AREA. THE MAP DOES NOT SHOW THE LARGE OPEN UNDEVELOPED AREA WHICH ADJOINS THE PILOT BUTTE CREEK AND WHICH IS SUITABLE FOR WALKING (SEASONAL) OR DOG WALKING ( SEASONAL). BOUNDED BY EASTGATE DRIVE ON EAST, BISHOP CRESCENT ON NORTH (WALKWAY ACESS TO PLAYSTRUCTURE) AND BOUNDED ON WEST BY HATTON AND HUNT CRESCENTS, VICTORIA AVENUE ON THE SOUTH. PILOT BUTTE CREEK WALKWAY TRANSECTS WEST SIDE OF THE AREA FROM NORTH TO SOUTH FROM DEWDNEY AVENUE TO VICTORIA AVENUE; HAS EXTENSIONS TO THE EAST TO THE CHILDRENS PLAYSTRUCTURE AREA AND JOINS PRINCE OF WALES DRIVE AT EASTGATE DRIVE. WALKWAY IS SHOWN ON THE GOOGLE MAP. MORE OPEN THAN PARKRIDGE / CREEKSIDE PARK SECTION I..E. NOT SO MUCH GREEN GRASSED AREA ADJOINIING PATHWAY ( EXCEPT IN THE "OFFICIAL" EASTGATE PARK AREA) AND FEW MATURE TREED AREAS. PILOT BUTTE CREEK PATHWAY SUITABLE FOR WALKING, BICYCLING, ROLLERBLADING.
