I’d rate this 4.5 out of 5. Everything was great except that the campsite is a bit too close to the street, so you can still hear cars passing by at night. That said, the site is very clean, well-organized, and conveniently located near the lake, Cultus Lake Water Park, and Adventure Park. There are a few trails in the area and plenty of shops nearby. Best of all, there’s cell service here, which may be important to others (though I didn’t mind either way). The highlight of our trip was getting lucky enough to witness the northern lights by Cultus Lake—it was truly amazing and saved me a few thousand dollars from a trip to Yellowknife! With that, I’m giving this trip a full 5 out of 5. It was the best and most memorable way to wrap up our summer vacation."

Only caveat is that you’ll need to cross the street to reach beach which is not a big deal but if other campsites have access to beach without crossing main road I’d opt for those. Our site was not by the main road which is quiet and nice at night in general. Washroom is semi-clean and has 1 bath stall in each bathroom section so expect lineups during peak hours. Toddler still struggles with semi-clean bathroom a bit but I feel this is a better facility among all campsites we’ve visited and as a grownup it’s good enough.

This campground is close to Cultus Lake. However, some sites are very close to the highway. Our site E35 was also close to the highway and road noises were non-stop until mid-night. Make sure to get a site away from the highway to enjoy this campground.

I can't tell you the biggest secret ... Or I will lose this spot next time. I just want to say I had the best site. It was spacious and clean. Best is that the place was level! No sliding off your air mattress cuz you set up your tent on a slope. We're were steps away from the garbage bins (no smell from where we stayed), the bathrooms ( 3 stalls and one shower. Can get busy at times and the hand dryer is quite loud. We can hear it from our site), potable water tap for all your water needs and the beach about a 6 min walk and across the street. Very doable with a wagon. Best thing about this park was how clean the Rangers kept the facility. I'm shocked. I didn't see any gross sights in the bathroom. Showers were kept nice. Just a stellar job from the parks board. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and like this campsite better than delta grove. Will come back next year and more!

One of the best campgrounds I have been to. There are clean showers and easy access to the lake. There is also a small trail/hike called Seven Sisters which connects to the campground next door. The park patrol makes frequent rounds. There was a bear sighting when I was there on June 20, 2024 so recommend extra care with containing food in secure storage.
