This campsite offers both full-service and non-serviced options, making it perfect for both seasoned campers and those who prefer a few more comforts. Only a short drive from Winnipeg, this campground provides a host of activities including fishing, hiking, and boat launching facilities.
Key Features:
- Proximity to Beach: Enjoy quick and easy access to Falcon Lake beach and boat launch.
- Cleanliness: The campsites are generally well-maintained, though washroom conditions could improve.
- Facilities:
- Full-service and non-serviced campsite options.
- Tennis court, food stores, and hiking trails nearby.
- Recently remodeled hotel and nearby vendor for essentials.
- Fire Pits: Deep fire pits available, much preferred over standard national park options.
Things to Consider:
- Washroom Facilities: Washrooms are described as dated and in need of cleaning and maintenance. Showers are also noted to be extremely hot.
- Crowd Levels: The campground tends to be crowded, especially during peak seasons. Booking early is recommended.
- Utility Hookups: Be prepared with extra extension cords and hoses as water and electrical posts can be located at inconvenient spots in some campsites.
Overall Thoughts:
Falcon Lake Beach Campground is a popular spot for both quick getaways and extended stays, thanks to its convenient location and array of activities. While the cleanliness of the washrooms and the crowd levels could be improved, the overall experience remains highly enjoyable, especially for those who can secure a campsite well in advance.

Nice campground. Been coming here a weekend or two per summer every year for decades. They have both full service and non serviced campsites a stone's throw from the beach and boat launch. The sites are clean, plenty of bathrooms though unfortunately in the last couple of years showers cost a dollar for 3 minutes when they used to be free. Fire pits are nice and deep and not those awful small ones on a pedestal like national parks often have.

Stayed for 4 days. ITS GREAT!! I love the place, very pretty, and they have foodstores, tennis court, and beach.. 3 STARS ONLY because I didn't like their washroom.. The toilet is very dirty and needed to be repainted. THEIR SHOWER IS SUPER HOT. The water is boiling. Please be careful !! The camp ground is very crowded.

Perfect getaway from Winnipeg in just a short drive. As long as you can book a site to your liking. Camping sites are scooped up right away but as long as you get what you want, it's a great place to spend the summer weekends. Shops, fishing, hiking trails, and the beach, it's all here! Smaller scale than Clear Lake, but half the driving time. The hotel was recently re-modeled, there a beer vendor and LC nearby. Also a short drive to West Hawk Lake. It's even great for just a day trip if you can't book or don't need a campsite.

Campground is well laid out for full size camping units. Recommend having at least 75' of power cord as in some of the sites the electrical hook up is in an opposite corner from water/sewar drain.

Beautiful camping spot on the lake only spent the night but enjoyed the time bathrooms were dated and not super clean campsites, for spacious enough, but power, posts and water. We’re in weird inconvenient spot bring an extension cord and extra hose. .
