We justbhiked the trails and the longer trail is really nice. It also provides a nice geological history of the area, complete with ice sheet reconstructions! Really cool stuff! Bugs were pretty thick in the spring. But a really nice walk. The shorter hike is also a nice little bioligical/ecological learning hike along the river.

Site was good and close to facilities. Rain was heavy at times, reducing the camping experience to good at best, but the beach was good when the weather permitted. Store in site has supplies as needed. Firewood, 10 per bag. Water nearby for campers patrolled frequently, by staff. Showers had hot to warm water. Trails to explore are great. It was quiet in our area, nice and peaceful.

OK park. A bit disappointed with the view from the smaller beach as the power station is right across the water - so not the greatest view. But the larger beach is quite nice. Sites were OK - a mix of private and open sites like most provincial parks. Caught (and released) two Smallmouth Bass on the Carp river near the bridge right inside the park. There are two nice but short trails. One with a waterfall at the start.

Fitzroy Provincial Park is a serene camping destination situated at the confluence of the Carp River and the Ottawa River. The campgrounds, Pine Grove and Two Rivers, welcome visitors from Spring to Fall on a first-come, first-served reservation basis. This park is truly exceptional! Our spacious Electric RV site provided ample room. The nature trails are fantastic, including a shorter one suitable for young children. The Terrace Trail, a delightful 1.9-km loop, offered us a thoroughly enjoyable walking experience. While the beach is on the smaller side, it's conveniently within walking distance of the trails, rivers, The washroom facilities are impressive – the best we've encountered in the region. The calm water is perfect for those interested in exploring various water sports. Don't miss the excellent park store, and be sure to treat yourself to some ice cream at the campground store. Overall, this park is an excellent choice for a family picnic, camping trip, or a leisurely hike along the flowing water stream. The restrooms is very clean, the park is well-maintained with clear signage, and our experience was undeniably positive.

We camped at the two rivers campground for two nights. The campgrounds and the washrooms were clean and well maintained. Not too crowded and there was also a small beach close to the campgrounds.
