Flat park with limited trees but a beautiful view of the waters and the grassy fields. It feels kind of like you’re on a farm in the Midwest. Lots of blackberry bushes to pick some snacks while walking. Ground is mostly gravel. Lots of parking. Walkable from Steveston Village.

Garry Point Park is a beautiful and serene destination, perfect for a relaxing day out. Located at the southwestern tip of Richmond, it offers stunning views of the Fraser River and the Gulf Islands. The park is well-maintained, with plenty of open spaces for picnics, kite flying, and leisurely walks. There are also several scenic trails that are great for a peaceful stroll or a bike ride.

Very nice and good natural beach park. A trial along the beach, now it is cherry bloom season, cherry blooming attracts a lot of people and families to take pictures here. Quite busy during weekends if the weather is shinny. Suitable for biking, hiking, running and gathering here with family and friends.

A beautiful park located in the south west corner of Richmond. It was fish cannery which was reclaimed to make this park. It has good walking trail, sand beaches for kids to play, a Japanese garden and boasts several cherry blossom trees. It also stunning views of Pacific Ocean and Vancouver island. It has a free parking lot where you can find parking most days. Highly recommended.

Free parking is difficult to come by unless you show up late in the evening. There's also a shortage of picnic tables near the food. However the fish & chips are excellent. At least the fish is. The fries, not so much. The fries were undercooked and under salted. However the food was very fresh and took a couple of minutes to cook. This wasn't a fast food restaurant. Everything was cooked to order whis is a definite plus. That's all I have to say about the food. The view for this of a place is beautiful. Occasionally you see some very cool boats across the river and out sea. I saw some chartered boats for before whale watching. This area is a short walk about half a kilometer from the fishing town where the more grown up fun can be found such as shopping, restaurants etc. however there are few ice cream shops too for the kids. The park itself seems like a great place to ride a bike and fly a kite both of it should I saw in abundance while there. There's a very large open field and plenty of space to barbecue.
