Beautiful large sandy beach with warm water and shallow walk in for kids. Nicely accessible for those with mobility issues.

Great escape to nature about 45 minutes outside of the Ottawa Gatineau area. Quiet, private campsites. You will need to take care because the access roads are narrow, with steep inclines in places, and our campsite wasn't very level. Equipment is limited to 25 feet... and rightly so. And no services. Beautiful area for hiking, kayaking, canoeing, etc. Most of the rental services were not available due to staffing shortages.

Our campsite was tiny but we managed to fit everything and had a great experience. Just a heads up: -Not all campsites are the same, some are significantly bigger even though they are the exact same type/price. - There are alot of raccoons and ravens (huge) in the area that are waiting for you to just turn around so I suggest always keeping your food in the car. - They only let you use the fire wood that you buy from the grocery store inside the camp and tell you that it's prohibited to get wood from the forest but we later discovered that everyone around us was just collecting the wood.

Love this place, we found it last year when Gatineau Hills road was closed. Worth the drive.

Beautiful place. Went for a long hike in the rain with some friends and had a great time. Would recommend.
