Amazing little hike. Takes approx 1hr to complete. Well groomed with some patches being slightly overgrown with grass but nothing major. Pretty views of the lakes. Not all direct lakeside. Camped at S2. Very secluded. No through traffic makes it a little sketchy. Something was sniffing and grunting (sounded like a bear) around my tent (July 17/24) early moring approx 0500 5min after something else ran by quick. It hit the tent very hard but left in 10ish min. I laid very still gripping the bear spray for 40min before coming out. It was gone. Extreme mosquito warning! And Horse flies! Overall I'll return but not to S2.

Breath taking views along the trails, that was quite accessible for most healthy people. Zero cellular signals in the provincial park area, offline maps might come in handy, and the open air bathrooms are not for hygiene freaks 😂

Absolutely beautiful hidden gem of Saskatchewan. One of the most amazing places you will visit. Every lake is amazing and plenty of wildlife including a family of otters in one lake. Looking forward to coming back in the spring and summer for camping. The whole hike takes about a half day but well worth it.

This area is absolutely stunning! A beautiful spot for canoeing, kayaking, and some portaging. The hike is beautiful with amazing views and some elevation changes. There are some back country camp spots which would be worth staying a night or two.
