Great place for a quick hike and great trails too! It is very beautiful place, quite occupied, family friendly and fun trails to the creek. It will take all about 3 hours to explore the trail to the creek and back, especially if you stopped here and there to admire views and side locations to sit. But be careful cause your phone signal will be off if you are at the north beach or go up the trail. You can find camping sites, bathrooms are well distributed,

Golden Ears Park is a very scenic provincial park located just under an hour away from the Vancouver lower mainland. There are camp sites and day use areas to enjoy the many activities possible here in the park. Park access passes: https://bcparks.ca/reservations/day-use-passes/ Visit the BC parks website to access a free pass for day use of Golden Ears Park. As of June 2024: Entry options are from 7am with departure at 1pm or entry at 1pm. Passes are not required for entry after 4pm. There is a check point for the passes just before the turn off to the Beach access. The lake, the canopy of majestic trees and the multiple hiking trails offer a great escape into nature. The lower falls trail had a relatively flat and wide gravel pathway. Good for all age groups. We visited on a rain day so the trails were less crowded. Attire on a rainy day: There are some puddles along the Lower falls trail way so bring appropriate foot wear and a waterproof jacket. Washroom facilities: -flushing toilet and sinks with running water available at the Beach day use area. -Outhouse options at the Gold creek parking lot.

Beautiful provincial park however it is extremely busy. During camping seasons you must buy a camping spot within the literal second the tickets go online or you are screwed. Not to mention you need day passes for certain days during the summer and winter which I find ridiculous. It is also an extremely busy park in general and you will have a hard time finding a nice secluded spot with no people unless you really hike. That being said this park is truly beautiful with amazing waterfalls and lakes with gorgeous surrounding by mountains and forests.

My partner and I recently visited Golden Ears Nature Park, and it was an unforgettable experience. We went on a short trail and were absolutely amazed by the stunning flora of British Columbia. The trees on the West Coast are incredibly large and majestic, and the beautiful moss added a magical touch to the surroundings. The highlight of our hike was the breathtaking view of the lake, nestled perfectly between the mountains. It was a serene and picturesque sight that left us in awe. Golden Ears Nature Park is a true gem, offering a peaceful escape into nature with its lush greenery and stunning landscapes. If you're looking for a place to connect with nature and enjoy the beautiful scenery British Columbia has to offer, Golden Ears Nature Park is a great visit. We can't wait to return and explore more of its trails!
