Guest Experience and Tips

  • Many guests have praised the site for its cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff, making it a welcoming choice for both solo campers and families.
  • The campsite features spacious plots, picnic tables, and fire pits, enhancing the camping experience. However, some visitors have mentioned the lack of shade and uneven ground in certain areas, which might be worth considering when setting up your tent.
  • While there is a laundromat available, it might not fully meet the needs of those with larger amounts of laundry, so planning ahead for such necessities could be beneficial.
  • Advanced reservations for specific sites, such as waterfront areas, might not always be secured, as some campers have experienced changes upon arrival. It might be useful to confirm site details before your visit.
  • While most guests have had positive experiences, there are concerns about policies, especially regarding site allocation and other mandates. It's always a good idea to check current regulations and guidelines before planning your stay.

Nice place, friendly staff unlike the place across the river. Only downside is we came here specifically because they had a laundromat. We had a lot of soiled clothes from our kids and there was one small washer and decent size dryer but no hot water going to the washer, so we still have to go get our laundry done elsewhere. Everything else about this place seems great.

$43/night is too much for an unshaded tent site in an open field. The site was spacious with picnic table and lovely fire pit. The ground was easy for tent pegs but un-level. The seasonal residents were doing construction on their decks until 23:00 and their children were playing until 24:00. If shower access is important to you, ask if there are any available when you make a reservation.

We booked 4 sites almost 2 months in advance so we could have water front as we had company coming from out west. When we arrived at the park we were informed out lots were giving to other campers that were staying longer. The owner then informed us that our lots are never guarantee but this was the first time she had mentioned it. I wouldn't have drove 2.5 hours if we didn't have the waterfront lots. Will not be going back there

Used to be a nice, beautiful spot to enjoy nature and the great outdoors. Now discriminating and promoting segregation via "health" mandates. Not a safe environment for those wanting to teach their children better values. Will not visit again.
