One of the best camping trips ever. This campground is awesome. Clean and well-kept. The site we had had fresh crushed rock (so maybe not great for tents) and was bottle shaped creating a very private area for the picnic table and fire pit. Bathrooms were clean and had well marked signage (see photo). I tend to get turned around very easily in campgrounds so I appreciated the sign pointing towards Bay 2. Showers were very large and well laid out. My one complaint would be a very low water pressure. Ladies with long hair, be aware. Great hiking trails in and around the campground. Beautiful scenery everywhere you look. Drive slow as there is a lot of wildlife. Close to a beautiful dog beach. Often dog designated beaches are the worst part of the beach. Not so at Sunset Beach. Sandy and easy to walk out into the water.

Clean and quiet campground. There are 6 bays with an easy access trail to all the bays in the middle. Modern bathroom facilities. Multiple playgrounds. Friendly staff at the office. A lot to do in the area. Great for Biking.

Great campground for access to beaches, birding, water sports, star gazing, and being surrounded by nature. Washrooms very clean. Pride taken in potted flowers throughout the campground. Spacious, private, level sites. Highly recommend.

Very clean and private areas for camping. Washrooms are fine and I really liked the showers as they have a door for each one. The bad side was the beaches, full of algae.
