Tips and Important Considerations

  • This campground provides great privacy under a dense tree canopy, making it a peaceful retreat.
  • It's well-suited for both tent campers and RV enthusiasts, though RV drivers should be cautious as the park has tight spaces.
  • Though there are no swimming pools, the campsite is close to natural water bodies where you can enjoy the lake.
  • The site is mostly shaded, which can be very comfortable during hot weather.
  • It's best to avoid arriving at night as the layout can be tight for navigation in the dark.
  • Beware of construction noise during weekdays due to nearby development.

We come here at least once a year and it’s a little slice of heaven. With The old bicycles, the tire swing, the mountain face in the back of the park, to all the trees! As Harrison hot springs is getting built up, this place still feels like you are in the nature. So close to the lake, it’s great! Lots of playgrounds nearby as well. Love taking pictures of my kids around the campground as you can see haha . Can’t wait to come back!

Great little camp ground that offers a unique experience. Built within an old growth forest that allows for great privacy and the shade of a wonderful canopy. Campsites are fully serviced . Washrooms are well maintained. This is not your cookie cutter campground. Very tenter friendlym

Loved it! The back of the property is right at the bottom of the mountain. Prices are great and I had an amazing experience there that will be remembered forever. Awesome for Rv’s or a perfect base camp for lengthy exploring, it had washrooms and showers I saw campers with dogs, so its dog friendly and every campsite has a picnic table.

We arrived late at night...dark. Ha ha....it was interesting pulling in as it is tight. Only have a 19 ft trailer but still was interesting. We made it in perfect enough. The lady at the desk is a gem - very polite. At first, I had second thoughts because of its tightness but I realized I enjoyed being here because of the trees - lots of trees and shade. I watched a 30+ft fifth wheel come in....so if you know how to drive, you will figure it out. Just don't do it in the dark - ha ha. Would I come again - sure would. Depends if my wife wants to wade in a swimming pool in the sun or not (cause there isnt one here)...but yeah. I'd come back! I can see some complaining by people but when on a get-away trip, why stress out? Enjoy what you can and make the best of your time. It's the experience after all and you decide whether to let things bother you or just enjoy it all.

The campground itself is fine. The staff was very friendly during check-in. The sites are mostly shaded. Quite close together and not a lot of privacy, but better than a lot of RV parks that are basically an open field. The pluses - showers and washrooms are clean, has an area for washing dishes, and has sites for tents to full RV hookups. The place is super-quiet at night; no loud takers or music. Negatives are not about the campground itself but unfortunately the whole village is growing, and there is a development being built right next to the campground. On the weekend they weren’t working but 8 AM to 5 PM during the week, heavy construction machinery really disturbs the site. It’s sad that growth is ruining what was probably a really nice location previously. Not sure how long a park like this will survive.
