Overall Thoughts
Hazelmere RV Park provides a good balance of amenities and outdoor activities, making it a pleasant spot for families and groups. The friendly and helpful staff add to the positive experience. However, the lack of immediate sewage hookups for short-term visitors and additional fees for pool access are minor drawbacks. Additionally, potential noise from events and the absence of a playground might affect some guests' enjoyment. Despite these considerations, the well-maintained facilities and range of activities available make it a worthwhile destination.

We spent a week at the RV park recently, and found that there were a lot more long term residents here which in turn they didn’t have many sites that had sewage hookups available for short term campers. Albeit they do have a dump location, but it is not as convenient to hook up your trailer, drive it to the dump site, unload, and re-park your trailer versus having it right at your camping site. Bathroom facilities on site were well maintained, and the shower was free as well. We were given a site next to the stream, which was lovely! My kids had fun exploring in and around the water. There is free mini golf, which we enjoyed regularly! There is free wifi, which we did use and thankful to have that access (as it rained most evenings that we were there!). There are a couple of basketball hoops in decent condition, and some grass areas to kick a soccer ball around, and a net for either volleyball or badminton. It was, however, disappointing that the pool has a fee of $2.50 per person for a 4 hour window. My kids love to swim but I wasn’t willing to pay $10 a day for them to be in the pool. We did leave a day early for a few reasons, one of them being a wedding was held on the Saturday evening in the open camping field behind us. The challenge that we had was that we were not informed that a function was going to be taking place at the time we checked in (the staff member knew we were there for a week). The wedding did end just after 11, so they followed the quiet time rule. But it was challenging with the music, as well as the amount of wedding guests and campers trying to share a 2 stall bathroom. Most of the staff that we encountered were kind and courteous, but I’m not sure that our family would come back to this location for another camping trip.

We just spent the Canada Long Weekend at this RV park and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The washrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. We were in town for a baseball tournament and we will be certainly booking with a group next year for sure. We stayed in the none hook up area up front and the amount of space was fantastic, especially for all the kids to run around and play.

The ladies up at the front desk were amazing sooooo friendly and helpfull they make the experience so nice. The site we were in was so great the kids loved it so much to do here your never bored unless you want to be. Pool was great and no charge was even better same as the showers 👌 I think this needs to be a regular thing here. Mini golf was fun played everyday good competition builder they do need to get an 8th hole though 🤔 The one thing that would have been nice is a nice playground they have great spaces for one not sure why there isn't one. It's a great place for kids to meet and make freinds and without it was a bit disappointing for the kids as they didn't really make any freinds. But all in all a really great getaway but with not really having to get away. Go enjoy, relax, walk, ride, anything and everything if you want to have fun stay at Hazelmere RV.

He's a mirror with regard, find, needed a place in a pinch and loan behold here. It was great location. Good people around me and the space very much needed. Was great until I received an email stating that I was being asked to terminate my stay and that if I wanted to leave early, they would reimburse money rest of the month and give me my damage deposit. Mentioning the rules not preferring tarps, presentable yard. Admittedly, I just got there, I emptied the motor home to sort it out and it's called back to the island while I was there. I received this email in question. That will be the end of the month stopped in yesterday to see what the procedure was for returning damage deposit to find out that I was asked to leave due to an altercation between myself. My girlfriend and some other person let me here at campground. No, under the month, I've only been here approximately 2 weeks time. And of that time have had no altercations with anybody whatsoever, so i've asked for more details and was only given that the person is not around anymore, so,,,, And so far refusing to explain the Altercation in question. Obviously. There's a this communication here or a misidentification here. So I would like to have the person have a visual to make sure that people campground has acted upon the people in question because I feel i've been asked to leave on the account of somebody else's altercation. In the end, the fire band is now lifted I'm a fire bucket. I would love to go somewhere else. I can actually have a campfire, and this place does not allow that. In any way, as there is no kit in campsite, Anne campsegue is simply gravel, no trees, no table. Yes, it's still a good location.Little pricey but a good location. I've been told the owners are quick to react and don't Flex rules or departure requests. When's they're made. I feel that I have been a victim of some sort of prejudice. A pretty simple refusal of verification of the complaint, For those who know me, i'm most honest Consider person when it comes other people. That I would soon or leave and cause an altercation here.Just feel that I have been ask to leave for an unjust & unverified reason. And that is the sole reason for my dismissal. It had nothing to do with the use of a tarp or messy campsite. Sad Because i very much like this place, The laundry is great Because there's an abundant amount for machines and the showers are complimentary. Such a loss,,, First day told we would review in six months second week told we had to leave as they would not honer their commitment of secure resodency.

Amazing campground for families and others. The front desk crew (Denise/Maria) were very helpful.
