Overall, Huntington Park Offleash Dog Park is a well-loved spot for dogs and their owners to enjoy some off-leash time. While it could benefit from a few improvements, such as a separate small dog area and better maintenance at the entrance, its large space and welcoming atmosphere make it a favorite among many.

Very large open space with benches to sit. 1/4 of the area is covered with wood chips and the rest with grass. It usually gets busy after 6pm when it’s not too hot outside. My only complaint is that there is no designated small dog section, so you got to be careful about other bigger dogs in the area. Also there are a bunch of sharp Canada Thistles near the entrance that need to be mowed.

Quite a gem of a dog park. In the South part of Markham but reachable from most parts of the GTA. Large grassed areas with wood chips in the high traffic areas. Shade trees and seating. Our sighthounds really enjoyed it.

It's a nice place, lots of space to run around. Wish there were two different areas for big and small dogs. Owners who visit, need to handle their dogs better. A poodle was pretty much attacking my puppy and the parents just sat on a bench and watched. I literally had to step between the poodle and my dog and stop him from harming my dog. We had to leave the park at that point because the poodle kept coming at my dog, unprovoked.

Nice big off-leash dog park. Nicer than the other ones we've been do. Dogs seem happy here all the time.
