Beautiful campsite! The campground manager was also really friendly and helpful! Only the price of 31$ is a little bit to expensive for a first come first serve campsite without any special facilities… but otherwise I really can recommend this place :)

first time here. Great spot for scenic beauty. They have washrooms , wood for sale and a very nice couple that helps take care of the place. Everyone had dogs out there which was nice. At this particular camp ground there were only 48 sites all of which were just a small walk to the lake shore. Boulton store was only a few minutes drive away in case you needed something. Definitely try and get back there next year. No electricity, or dump station so come prepared . My solar system didn't help much due to the high trees. I didn't mind cause my friend had a generator I could borrow.

With many lakefront campsites and no sites more than a couple minute walk from the lower lake beach, this is kinda the jewel of Kananaskis camping. It's tough to get a site here during the summer, but if you're heading down the Kananaskis Lakes Trail, it's worth checking availability at Interlakes before settling for another campground. The only con is that you have to go up the road a couple miles for showers and ice cream and stuff.

Beautiful campground. The staff there are super friendly. There were four grizzly and one black bear in the area, plus a moose and lots of big horned sheep. It's a very popular place and very hard to find à site. We got there on a Monday and there was only one sites left.

As I leave this park for probably last time it saddens me to know that the woke province is allowing possible foreign countries to bid on the management of this park Hello China.. It is a disgrace first the 90.00 year pass to enjoy our land . My land!!! as a 5th generation now they will destroy this park with the lowest bid... Discusting and outrageous Peter Lougheed is Rollin in his grave...shame on you WOKE sickos I would like to see all the names listed who are making these decisions so we can hold them financially accountable... Stop ruining my lands....and charging ridiculous fees for us to visit OUR LANDS not yours.
