CAUTIONARY TALE TO CAMPERS! We were SO excited to stay here but when we arrived, not only was it packed but the sites were right out in the open! ZERO shade...you need to have a big SPRINTER van or create your own shade to protect you from the Okanagan sun...it was 38 Degrees that day, so we left. Not before we went down to check out the disappointing narrow beach that was jammed packed with too many people. Sorry, but this place wasn't for us.

A beautiful park with access to the railtrails along the lake to Lake Country one. way and Vernon the other. Fabulous ride with lots of things to see either way

Beautiful campground by the Kalamalka Lake. Very well maintained, with flushing toilets, showers, and water stations all around the campground. Very reasonable price for what they're offering. Only 20 mins drive from Vernon where you can buy all your supplies. The lake was very close - within walking distance.

We camped here over the Labour Day long weekend so needless to say all the sites were full but surprisingly uncrowded. The campground is set in a bowl in the hillside and pretty much every site has lots of privacy and a view of the lake. If you need power there's 4 electric sites in the parking lot but they didn't look very comfortable. The Okanogan rail trail runs through the park which is perfect for an easy ride to Vernon 9 km away or Oyama 9 km the other way . The lake is warm and beautifull and there's plenty of beach acces along the trail. Data access is an issue tho.
