Overall Thoughts
Komoka Provincial Park is praised for its tranquil setting and well-maintained trails. It provides a great escape for hiking and bird watching, though it may not offer a lot in terms of varied wildlife sightings. The requirement to pay for parking might be a slight inconvenience, but the funds are used for the upkeep of the park. If you're looking for a peaceful hike surrounded by nature, Komoka Provincial Park is an excellent choice.

You have to pay for parking before entering park / trails. The machine was absolutely brutal and didn't work for us. Ok, as for the park / trail. It was beautiful with tons of shade from the trees. But saying that it was beyond boring. I saw 1 chipmunk 🐿 and that was it for wildlife. If you are up for a hike, I would definitely recommend this place. If you are sightseeing no, I wouldn't recommend it.

Nice place for a walk, pay parking now unfortunately through a phone app. The money goes towards stewardship of the land and facilities tho so not a big deal. Washrooms on site. Beautiful hardwood trees, follows the Thames river and is an important home to many species. Great for bird watchers, lots of opportunities for wildlife viewing if you take your time and stay quiet while walking. Pause every so often to look around and listen, you'll be amazed at what you can see. Make sure to bring water and snacks but please pack out what you bring in. Leave only footprints and take only memories. Happy hiking.

Great park. Good environment variety. Short and Long loop - can do both in 2hrs. Having to pay is -1 star - kind of annoying.
