  • The new owners are friendly and making continuous improvements.
  • Ideal for those who enjoy river activities like swimming and tubing.

Overall Thoughts: Lahave River Campground is a delightful place for families and seasonal campers. With a range of activities and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s perfect for those looking to enjoy both relaxation and recreation. However, if you’re seeking a secluded, tranquil escape, you might find it a bit bustling.

This campground was at a great location for us as we were visiting our son who lives 6 minutes away. The washrooms were clean and efficient. The river was nice to swim in and the owners of the place were pleasant. There was a family like atmosphere at the campground as there were a lot of seasonal campers. There were a lot of activities available to participate in which was nice. The camping spots are a little small and very close together which I guess is normal for private campgrounds. Overall it was a great week f camping.

Such a nice, friendly, relaxing campground. New owners are very friendly and a joy to interact with. The sites are a little on the small side, however they are well kept, clean and have lots of wooded area. No open field here! The river is just perfect for swimming or sitting by the banks and watching the ducks float by. Washrooms are clean, modern and well cared for. Basketball court, dog park, playground, pool hall and horseshoe pits are great spots for the kids. The new owners are obviously working hard on the place and I'm sure it will only get better. Kids were a bit disappointed that the arcade machines in the promotion pictures were gone..but not a big deal.

What a hidden gem! Great family camping experience. So friendly and fun to be had. Great swimming hole, and the washrooms are the most lovely camping washrooms ever. Our site for the pop up tent trailer was clean and suitable (a little slope or lean towards the back causing some items to roll a bit...I will have to learn to level out better (insert big smile here). Overall a wonderful stay...do go and visit...good times in the Maritimes!

Overall decent campground. We booked here predominately because of the social media highlights of this place, which set our expectations a bit higher than reality. Seasonal grounds could use some house keeping. Good spot for kids to play, but keep that in mind if you’re looking for peace and tranquility as we found it a bit less than relaxing.
