Our stay at Longriders RV Park was a great experience. From check in to check out which was 3x as we came and went from the Park thru out July and August. Both Debbie and Brenda are more that helpful and have great customer service. The grounds are extremely well kept, clean, tidy, manicured!! Any issues or concerns are dealt with PDQ.

I stayed at 3 campgrounds in 1 month. The first was excellent and the last was excellent and this one was the third which was really awful in comparison (not “rustic” at all) We abided by all the rules, took the spot that we were given, by the mooing cows (I did like that 😊- made me smile each time) and the freight train every night (she warned us so I didn’t say anything but I didn’t sleep well any of the 7 nights). It was directly behind our site. This is a work camp atmosphere and I feel that the website is greatly misleading. I could not access the wifi even for basic emails or social media (due to people not following the no streaming/gaming rules). They have a coyote population that tried to lure our dogs into the woods, which we were not told about. Upon using the bathrooms/showers I discovered the only lock (deadbolt) was on the toilet stall, not on the entry to bathroom or shower! It also housed the LAUNDRY room and MEN’S bathroom, so anyone had access to you - I felt extremely vulnerable with only a shower curtain and an unlocked front door in between both of these other rooms. Those were my main concerns and when my husband mentioned it upon checkout - only about shower security and wifi, he received two answers, “well it’s just basic wifi for checking emails” and “there is a deadbolt!” Which is a complete falsehood. If the person at the front had received our feedback differently, I would not be posting this review. My husband was met with tone, excuses and falsehoods - and extremely defensive behaviour for zero reason. If you need a place close to work, this is the place for you - I would not take children or teens there. It’s purely for workers and not family friendly by my standards. Plus the customer service was sub par. My husband said his words “fell on deaf ears” and was glad that I decided to let him deal with it as it would only have made me angry. Oh! And it was the most expensive RV park out of all three.

Nice clean, quiet campground! Sites have some privacy so you are not on top of your neighbour… Staff especially the office lady… are fantastic and a pleasure to deal with!!!!

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PARK !!! *** When you will see the answer from the owner / it tells you a lot about their customer service *** :) ---scroll down to see the answer. We have never met a lady as d*** as the spiky hair lady at the office . We arrive outside the gate at around 2pm after thousand km and 2 full days of driving. My husband was exhausted. My husband called the phone # but nothing (voicemail direct *** she turn off her phone until 4 pm - way too lazy to go to work even if she lives 10 steps away from the office in her trailer***) She finally saw our trailer outside the gate at around 2:30 pm . She comes to let us in . She threw us in a spot (we are working and travelling for work so we have done more than 40 rv park all around canada / we know how to park our trailer) ..we park it but the site was too narrow for the slide (tree on both side ) . We call her to let her know that the site wont work ..she tell us to come at the office at 4pm (so to wait around for 1:30 when she lives right there ...10 steps away from the office.) so we start looking around for a 50 amp site with running water ..we find one ...so we call her to ask her if the site is available before we move in it ... She tell us im not going into the office until 4pm...... Okk So we waited around until 4... At 4 she shows up ... We saw her taking her car , getting out the fence and driving back in the park and park at the office (i repeat ..she lives 10 steps away from it ). We were already annoy at this point cause she was too lazy to help her customer. She took a map and cercle all 50amp on the map and tell us : so if you would have come at the office (which we were.. we waited for 2 h) . I could have tell you which site to take ..ok... She cercle the site we had seen 50 amp with running water . My husband ask her ok great can we take this site ... She answer: probably not . My husband tell her : why did you cercle it then ... Her answer : have a good day then ! At this point there was no way we were staying there ! And we got mad . You just can't deal with stupid . You live on site / help your customer when they show up at a decent hour ... Dont take your car when you can walk 10 steps to the office ... WORST RV PARK WE HAVE EVER BEEN TOO POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
