Attended the one love reggae fest recently. Wanted to give 5 stars for service, was reasonable and a lot of fun. Nice spot. However we're told we got one bunch of free firewood with each space, and we rented 2 spots so our dog could run around and for privacy (3 women). We took one unsure we would even use another because it was rainy that day. The wonderful young woman actually brought us the first one. She was really nice and easy to talk to. She stated no problem, if we did want the other one to just come by later. We did and encountered the most surly drunk man. Told us we did not get free wood and was really mean. When we tried to explain he told us we don't get any wood for "arguing" and that he was too busy to deal with us! We were nothing but courteous. Other than that the place is nice and the people were all amazing...other than the nasty drunk guy who wanted us women to freeze for some reason. 🤷♀️

A great campground, well situated. It might be in an industrial area but tentsite are in a nice forest, very private. There are shared pic nic tables and a shelter. No water but 1km away there is a recreation center with water. Pit toilets very clean. Very nice staff, thank you for your work!

Clean, well tended and practical. The sites do not have much privacy but there is lots around to explore that makes up for it. Long river trails, close by horses, minutes to drive to the city, and a solid slack line course. We stayed here only one night and would fornsure come back again!

They're BESIDE A SHOOTING RANGE; too noisy to sleep. DO NOT PAY THEM OR STAY HERE. Almost a consumer fraud or failure to disclose. When they say "We don't issue refunds." There's a reason. Go to recreation sites, tent sites, Brackendale. Anywhere but here, unless you have a hunting dog and you love to listen to firearms. Here's how they misrepresent themselves in their own words "Our campground is a non-profit, volunteer driven organization, developed by the Mamquam River Access Society, (MRAS). Our vision is to provide low priced, high value camping along the Mamquam River in Squamish BC. Our focus is to combine our fabulous location with non-serviced, well appointed campsites and engaged customer service at a low price."

I love this place, I come here two times a year and everything is great about the campground. The only possible downside is the noise from the nearby shooting range in the morning and occasional horse smell. I barely notice the noise or the smell.
