Important Considerations
- Booking System: The reservation system has shown mixed reviews, with some users finding it smooth and efficient, while others have faced difficulties, especially on opening days. Pro tip: Try to make reservations well in advance to avoid peak-time frustrations.
- Yurt Availability: Yurts seem to be a popular option and can book up quickly. It's advisable to check availability and book as soon as possible.
- Booking Policies: Be cautious when making reservations, as cancellation and change policies can be strict. Make sure to double-check your dates and details to avoid unexpected charges.
- Information Resources: For those seeking topographical and angling maps, head to Canada Maps at 1007 Century Street in Winnipeg. However, Manitoba Parks offers a wealth of brochures loaded with helpful information about park sites and activities.
Overall Thoughts
Visitors to Manitoba Parks will find a wide range of nature-rich activities to enjoy. While the booking system may present some challenges, careful planning and early reservations could make for a seamless experience. The parks themselves are well-equipped and supported by ample resources to ensure you have all the information you need for a great trip.

New system still sucks. Tried booking today opening day to this fantastic system they have talked about to be 6493 inline @ 7am when it goes online. Made 2 reservations that you can clearly see 2 items in the shopping cart icon but the stupid thing won't load after trying for 20 minutes so I can enter my card number to pay for them. Get a better system pay the $$$ for it. Build more yurts even more campsites. It's not like your lacking funds.

Don't make a mistake with your booking! Accidentally booked the wrong date and corrected just a couple of hours later when I realized after looking at the confirmation email. They are still charging me for the first night of the incorrect booking though as the date I had accidentally booked was within the 3 day window. I spoke to management as I had hoped there would be some flexibility given the circumstance but no sympathy for honest errors. Touche Parks Manitoba - lesson learned :(

The new reservation system is PHENOMENAL. I used to call reservation day the most stressful day of the year but this new system is smooth like butter and doesn't kick you out. I just wish there were more yurts to go around/book!

The system capacity is dismal. We have been trying for 3 hours to book and been kicked out and delays in going to the next page. Other camp sites have a number 7 beside the sire and it must be booked for a minimum of 7 days and include a Sunday to Sunday. People have booked prior to a Sunday for an extended time so that locks you out of the time open. This is the most absurd thing ever. Now we have to try again at midnight to reserve those times. The capacity is so bad but you would think that opening day you would not loose connection or it falls down to maintenance. Truly ticked off with system.

FYI…….This is not the location to get Manitoba topographical and angling maps. You need to go to 1007 Century Street in Winnipeg. Mistakingly, I was recently at this location looking for maps. The staff here were very kind and advised me to go to Canada Maps located at 1007 Century Street. However I was able to get a lot of Manitoba Provincial park brochures. These brochures are loaded with helpful information regarding camping sites, back country/canoe routes.
