Features and Highlights

  • Great area for running dogs with dog waste bins available.
  • Adjacent to nature trails like Alumni Trail and Mystic Vale, providing more areas to explore (dogs must be on leads in these areas).
  • Ample parking available on Hazelton street.
  • A small but pleasant playground for children.
  • Spacious fields ideal for various activities.

Tips and Considerations

  • The park is very quiet, making it a peaceful retreat.
  • Grass around benches and trees can be quite long, which might make it hard to locate where dogs have defecated or where balls land.
  • One reviewer suggested the addition of more benches to enhance seating availability.

Overall Thoughts

Montague Park is a lovely, tranquil space suitable for both recreational and leisurely activities. Whether you're looking to let your dog run free, enjoy a quiet picnic, or take your children to play, the park offers a simple yet charming environment. However, keeping the grass trimmed and adding a few more benches could improve the overall experience.

A good park for running your dog. Trash bin for dog waste & adjacent to Haro Woods (5 min) & University (Alumni Trail & Mystic Vale — both require dogs to be on leads)

There are parking spots off Hazelton, not Graduation. Open park, big field, small but nice playground. Very quiet!

It's literally just a park. What does Google want me to say for this review. Maybe there could be one more bench. Overall I give it a park/10

Grass around benches and trees ridiculously long. Difficult to find where dogs defacated or where balls landed. But lovely and quiet.
