%100 I would suggest this location for a peaceful getaway! everyone there was very pleasant. We also took our dog Milo with us, and he enjoyed swimming in the lake much more. We were surprised to see less bugs,interesting animal sounds and cool crabs. Had the opportunity to gaze up at the starry, pristine sky 😊 Although we didn't have time, kayaking is absolutely something we want to do when we return! Although it was only a short walk away, we were disappointed that the fantastic view we had hoped for was not directly from our tent site.

There's no experience like staying right on the Atlantic Ocean and Murphy's brings that to you. Be prepared for breathtaking views and down home hospitality. This campground was very clean and quiet and the perfect place to kick back and relax. The scenery on the drive to Murphy's is equally noteworthy for amazing views of the ocean and the beautiful countryside. I cannot wait to go back.

I stayed at Murphy's for 7 days. It is an amazingly quiet and peaceful campsite. I stayed at the tent site and have nothing but good things to stay. I booked a kayak trip and had a bonfire every night. The service and people who work there are excellent. The washrooms were clean and the shower worked fine. I have no complaints at all about my time there. It is a homey and family feeling place where people are respectful and considerate. The staff is top notch and were very accommodating with any request I had. My only minor gripe is the resident chipmunks. They are very comfortable going through your garbage and food. Don't leave your food on the tables or they will be pilfered. The chipmunks are quite bold. They emptyed my garbage twice looking for food. But other than those critters, my stay was peaceful and enjoying. Thanks to the staff and owners for a great week!

Such a beautiful piece of land. The water view lots , are to die for. The complimentary coffee was delicious each morning. The dock is lovely for swimming or just sitting on. The water is clear and clean. You can see right down to the bottom. Staff / management is friendly and accommodating. Washrooms are decent and theres hot showers available. Lots of boats to rent at a reasonable price. We will be back !!

The most incredible campground we’ve ever stayed at!! The views, the relaxed atmosphere, the sense of community - everything about this campground is just right. Our site had amazing ocean views, the dock and shoreline were beautiful places to pass time, enjoying the peace and serenity of this special spot. Would not hesitate to stay again!
