Clean, beautifully located campground with good amenities and friendly helpful staff. Located close to the Confederation bridge, the campsites are well spaced and overall it very peaceful. The beach area is excellent! Sandy and shallow with lots of sandbars, it is great for even small kids. The main office has ice, coffee and other necessities, and the lovely village of Cap Pele is only a short drive for more substantial purchases. We had a rustic shelter, which had no electricity but provided excellent shelter from the elements. A double bunk bed and a single bunk gives lots of sleeping/storage space. The bathroom facilities are clean and well lit at night. The one nearest us only had one shower stall but the bathrooms nearest the beach has 4 or 5 and they’re all free of charge. All sites have a fire pit, but burning depends on daily provincial guidelines. Will definitely return.

Although it is a big field, the view of the ocean is amazing from almost every camping spot. The breeze is cold, so bring layers, and it gets windy! Awnings are at risk of being ripped down some days. But you should really bring a kite! The beach is really nice, and there are some spots where water pools and gets really warm. The bathrooms are clean and there are dish washing stations at each one. The staff are amazing, very friendly and give great recommendations on what do see in the area.

Another beautiful provincial park with incredible ocean views and friendly staff. They offer coffee in the morning at the office for $2, along with cream and some supplies in case you forget anything. We stayed in the rustic shelter this time, and it was spotless. One of many great stays at Murray Beach!

If you like wide open RVing this park is nice (we are more camping in the middle of the woods type) but we needed something last minute that was dog friendly and were able to get one of their cabins. The cabin is nothing fancy, no electricity and no mattress. Beautiful view of the ocean and sunsets. There is a large beach but it is not dog friendly (it's a shame they can't just section off one small area for dogs). Def could use more washroom facilities, it was a fair walk to it. And make sure you bring your bug spray there are a lot of mosquitos!

Amazing place for camping. The place is hugeeee in terms if size and it’s so very scenic. The beach is clean. The place is dog friendly except in the beach area. The front desk people are friendly and nice. It’s very well maintained overall. There are common bathrooms and showers and it’s so clean overall. The plaza is roughly 20 minutes drive incase you want to get some food or drinks. The drive to Prince Edward Island is 1 hr drive , but there’s toll of $50 on your way to beach again from PEI and I found it surprising. Overall this place is one of the hidden picnic spots.
