Absolutely wonderful property. The staff are extremely kind and friendly, and if you get really lucky, you might get to pet Boo-boo, the resident black kitty. You get a little bit of highway noise but it's totally fine. Bikers, this place would be great for a pit stop and you can ride the roads within the property with ease. Can't wait to come back and visit!

Very friendly, helpful hosts. Clean facilities with free, hot showers. I don't think I've ever entered an outhouse and thought "this smells nice" before staying here. Large, treed, private tenting sites. However the mosquitoes were worse here, in the back row of tenting sites, than pretty much anywhere else I visited on Vancouver island in a week. There is stagnant water behind this row of sites. Also the road noise is FAR worse than any other review let on. I suppose if sleeping in an RV/ trailer/ vehicle it would be fine, but in a tent there is no way I would have been able to fall asleep without earplugs. Even with earplugs I shot up in the middle of the night repeatedly, wondering what the crazy loud noise I'd just heard was... Before remembering I was camping near a highway. Would not recommend for light sleepers who are staying in a tent. Heavy sleepers and those staying in sound proofed vehicles will likely enjoy it here with bug spray.

Been here before only because of limited options tried again but was denied because of “two big dogs” that had been here previously. The person running place stuck her head out window of the trailer after asking they had a tent site for the night smoking a cigarette and said not with the two big dogs we have chickens. Much better options in the area if you can get in during peak season.

I've been here quite a few times to hide out and just sit back and relax for the weekend. My FurBaby loves hanging out in the creek the whole day as well.

A great little campground just off the highway. My crew needed a couple nights to get established on the island after picking up a rental trailer, and this was a great place to settle in, get our kids used to camping in a quiet and laid back place. Had a wade up the creek, rode the toddler bikes around the grounds, had some friendly chats with the host and other guests. Bill was really knowledgeable and had some great advice for our trip. Showers and coin laundry were appreciated, too!
